The Process of Selling a Home
Even if you have bought or sold a home before, the process can still be very confusing. This list might help you trace the steps involved in your transaction.
It is my responsibility to make sure each step is carried out properly, to tie them together as smoothly as possible and to keep you fully informed every step of the way.
- 1) Create a Listing Contract and do a Current Market Analysis.
- 2) Set a price range and a time frame.
- 3) Develop and execute a marketing strategy.
- 4) Discuss your housing needs and wants.
- 5) Consider a presented offer.
- 6) Begin negotiations.
- 7) Accept an offer with the usual conditions.
- 8) Have the Buyer submit a loan application.
- 9) Schedule a home inspection.
- 10) Deliver all requested documentation.
- 11) Ensure conditions are met and subjects are removed.
- 12) Send a Lawyer/Notary the contract documents.
- 13) Transfer title and disperse monies.
